We have some plans for the featured threads display. For now, they show up in the sidebar in the main forum list.

I agree and hope we can see that soon. The software is extremely limited in that department. Added filtering/sorting for search results would be amazing but it's not something I can do myself. I'll dig around for some plugins but I don't think one exists. You can go in and do "Advanced Search"...

So for now, we've enabled giphy on the site. We're a little limited on the requests per hour until we get approved for a higher limit, but this should suffice for now. For now, click the GIF icon in the editor:

@SharpeScooterShooter so after this, can you post a screenshot of your alerts menu? Mine has a variety of alerts, including the mentioned at the bottom.

I did. "Mentions you in a message" should be checked for alerts in the preferences for this to work.

Further down on preferences, do you have "Quotes your message" options checked?

If you go to the Forums dropdown, you'll see: Your threads and Your content (I just added this, it was under the account profile but I think it's nice here) Your content will be a blend of everything. I'll see what I can do about having an easier switching method while viewing those pages.
