Bontemps is locking in his prediction by saying 105 is 'rich', so that when Portland pays more he can immediately say he's overpaid. I'd be shocked if Sharpe took that offer--I'm guessing he wants more. (I'm not saying he's worth that, I'm just saying I think Klutch will push for way more.)

I try not to worry about contracts anymore. Portland is going to pay a premium, and they're going to easily wiggle out of the artificial dire straits cast upon them by the CBA that was agreed upon by all the owners.

I wish they had done it right after he came. Putting it right before training camp after time passed felt weird and stilted--this is the time to focus on the guys who will be playing this season.

that might be true but sort of like paul george, he's going to be a clipper in perpetuity unless he's cleaved from the team under significant penalty.
