I have never had this many responses from Laker fans.

Would you guys do McCollum, Meyers, and Claver for Jeff Green? Yeah it diminishes our back-court. But Green can play 3 or 4, Batum can play 2 or 3, as can Barton. Would love to keep T-Rob just for the different tough dimension that he brings, but that may be why he has some value too. I'm...

    Whither Thomas Robinson?

I would imagine cap planning goes into all of these considerations, and the TV deal changes things too, BUT: We don't win the Houston series w/o Robinson. He changed the game, irritated dwight, got some big dunks. We need a little bit of nasty on the team and I think playing with a pass-first...

My theory on why Hibbert will come to Portland next year

Well, Lopez for one. He's way better than anything else they would get for him.

What do you want to see from Damian?

He and T-Rob need to develop a pick n roll game from the top of the key. This would lead to easy buckets for both. Batum and Lopez's at the elbow is already a nice change of pace. I could see a couple of b/u units to pair with the starters meshing well. Blake/CJ/Batum/Aldridge/Lopez -...

    FA has started!

I think that league revenues have been increasing, a new TV deal will be negotiated soon (next year I think?), and owners are seeing how much more valuable their franchises are than they thought previously and willing to go into luxury tax. Between the revenues increasing (teams betting the...

    OT: Pacers quietly shopping Hibbert

We're in agreement on Robin and Wes. I wouldn't move two guys who are great fits with all the pieces around them and on cheap contracts, even for a potential star. (not named Lebron or KD)

    OT: Pacers quietly shopping Hibbert

I agree, would be a mistake to get rid of Robinson at this point (unless straight up or something very obvious and unrealistic). His motor is so high I think we'll see big improvements out of him this year.

    OT: Pacers quietly shopping Hibbert

What do you think will get offered that's better than that offer? I would think Indy considers themselves in win-now w/George's ability and West's age, so they need a center coming back. Which good ones (who are ready now) could be sent their way? The only ones I can think of are Bogut and...

    OT: Pacers quietly shopping Hibbert

Fonz: How do you figure? What is Indiana really going to get for him? I don't think any teams will send stars and they aren't going to want projects b/c they're in win-now mode. The best I could see is getting Bogut from the Warriors.

    OT: Pacers quietly shopping Hibbert

I think Hibbert would fit well here with the whole "us against the world"/underdogs mentality. Lots of teams would take a risk on him, but if they want to send him west I'm not sure who we'd be up against. The suns, lots of assets/draft picks, but can't send Indiana a proficient big for...

One backup PG thread to rule them all

Agreed that this offense is better suited for PG's w/limited vision than Stockton's Utah teams or D'antoni ball. As for handles, debatable considering how much Lillard breaks his man down on the ball. I disagree. Blake never moved at all when here (Nate didn't have anyone move) or in LA...

    Blazers sign Chris Kaman

I would think Freeland and Wright have at least neutral value if we sent over a pick or something. Either one would get us up to the amount needed to take back Kaman.

One backup PG thread to rule them all

I think the evidence would be his time playing (not much) under Terry Stotts in Milwaukee or with the Warriors at the end of this last season. Why would a an extremely conservative player w/limited handles and average (at best) vision succeed in a free-flowing offense?

One backup PG thread to rule them all

That one stupid game against the clippers (and an extremely green Deandre Jordan). He is NOT good at running an offense, unless that offense consists of isolation control (blazers) or high post passing and domination from the other guard (lakers). We don't run anything like that.

One backup PG thread to rule them all

When have you seen Blake run an offense? He never ran the offense when he was here or with the Lakers. The guy can't even run a fast break, much less an offense.
