Re: PLAYOFFS: ROUND 2, GAME 4 - SPURS @ BLAZERS - 5/12/14, MONDAY, 7:30 PM (PST), TN
The People's Champ is playing with great energy and aggression tonight. Will is just under control enough to make his insane energy work real well against the Spurs. I love it!
Blazers layin' an egg tonight. Not a single guy is making decent passes, handling the ball well, boxing out, hitting open shots, etc. Team just needs to work through this game and try to get on track for game two.
Ahh, the young playoff team jitters. I was surprised I didn't see this at all in the Houston series, though it's not a surprise at all that it's coming against the most experienced team in the playoffs. I'm sure they will continue to work their way through it and get better, but this first game...
I like the Spurs fans talking here. So far they are pretty civil. Reggie is just man-crushing on the Spurs though, it's just not good color commentary, it's just public BJ. I'm sure he'll do the same thing for the Heat.
So, I'm confused right now. Maybe it's dementia slowly setting in, but I thought you couldn't pass the ball to yourself off the backboard (shot missed so bad it just bounced right back off glass and you catch it on the ground) unless it was like an alley oop to yourself since you are off the...
Can't believe they just t'd up Ginobili for that. Dude is just doing the same moves he always uses, not his fault they are suddenly calling them as travels.
Reggie Miller, Portland is a jump shooting team. That is what they do. Stop acting like it's new, and that it's their suddenly new poor shot selection.
I'm noticing our guys are throwing up a lot of pathetic shots like they are expecting contact and just throwing it at the rim. Then the contact doesn't come and they just look stupid. They need to take their time and get a quality shot, I think they were so used to Houston's defense hammering...
Spurs got some good defensive intensity and energy right now, but that can only hold up so long. Blazers don't seem focused, are rushing, almost like the first game jitters you'd expect from the last series. Hopefully they can settle down before the game gets out of control.
