I'm not rooting for the team to lose, but with every loss they improve their chances in a talent rich draft so it's sort of a "win-win" in my mind.
I.e. San Antonio when Robinson got hurt?
I think I can make a solid guarantee that with Failton and Crawful we have about A 10% chance of making the playoffs and about a 1% chance of winning more than 1 game in them if we somehow stagger in (involving a few airplane crashes with teams in front of us).
Is there nothing about this team that you won't hyperbolize?

Good morn. Must get out of my trade mode & into my beat hawk's mind set. With lakers& san ant coming up real big game tonight.
What does "trade mode" mean?
These type of threads crack me up. If this is a must win....... what's the next game?

The focus was there, it wouldn’t be long now.
The Lakers had been winning championships on and off over the past decade and always seemed to be in contention, but it finally looked like the Lakers run as top dog in the Western Conference was coming to an end.
The Eastern conference was starting to be dominated by a young Chicago Bulls team, led by the league’s MVP, and team of stars led by Pat Riley. But who can worry about the East? The focus just needs to be on the Western Conference; we just need a way out of the first round.
His coach was having trouble controlling the team. Dissension was rife in the locker-room. Where once a proud man sat, having been praised as coach of the year, now sat a man confused by how quickly the media, fans, and players had turned on him.
The sound of the rain was monotonous; it felt like it never stopped.
Each and every loss this year felt like a dagger slicing his skin: the pain was pure agony.
His mind focused: it was 1989:
· his 6th yr Texas-raised superstar was Drexler, replacing the Blazers former #1 scorer, all-star SG Paxson
· his 5th yr injury-prone superstar center was Sam Bowie, whom had been followed in the draft by Jordan
· his 4th yr talented defensive minded SF was Jerome Kersey
· his coach was Mike Schuler
His mind focused even more: the day was Jan 27th, 1989. The Blazers had just lost their 4th straight home game, dropping the Blazers to a single game above 500, a pitiful 20-19.
It was the Friday night before a Saturday home game against the Atlanta Hawks.
It's a must win, because if the Blazers don't win then they're folding up the team and moving to Seattle.
Blazers have an air tight deal with the RG no way they can get out of it.
Yeah, because obviously I was being serious about things.
The amount of people iv heard who are scared we will lose the blazers to seattle in the next few years if they cant get a team is pretty ridiculousness.
Maybe some of us wanna make playoffs...
