After all, we were just having a discussion that we needed to get down to a much more focused 8-9 man rotation rather than the 10-11 man rotation that has been happening.

Wish expressed. Wish granted.

Careful that for which you wish. :ohno:

Gramps...

Could be a blessing in disguise actually. Certain role players will have more time to learn their roles with more playing time. By the time Outlaw comes back, our team should be pretty damn focused.

BTW... Thanks Gramps for doing that Prediction thingy. Very cool!

Dante can play a little if needed, and Rudy & Martell can play more minutes if need be. I don't think it is a blessing in terms of playing time, but I do in terms of weening Nate off of Travis.

Another thanks to Gramps for the prediction game! Way fun.

Perhaps Stephen Jackson in a trade for ............

Now if only Blake would go down with a broken wrist after heaving all those bricks... ;)

The real issue here though is this makes us thin at the four. Travis was playing backup to LA at PF. Now we have no one other than Juwan Howard to play behind Travis. Everyone seems to like Juwan, but he has yet to prove he is the answer. As far as the space Outlaw took up at the three, both Rudy and Martell can benefit from this.

We were already thin at the four.... Travis wasn't/isn't/and never will be a four.

This just forces the team to address the weakness that has been there for the last couple years.

He spends the vast majority of his minutes at the 4. He's much more effective at the 4. He's clearly a 4, even if he may not be a typical one.

I don't think we really need a running back, and I don't think we have anything that the Rams would be interested in.

Trade for G. Wallace.........problems solved! Can start at SF and backup PF. For Charolotte to bite we'd have to do something like Rudy, Martel or Travis and Blake. I realize it's way to early to think about trades but this one seems to make a lot of sense for both teams.

If Steve Blake spent the vast majority of his minutes at the four, would he be a four? Would it make it any less apparent that we need a legitimate backup power forward?
