What I'd anticipate is that it will take them a lifetime to pay the money....ceded lands in Hawaii are 99 year waits for the locals and they're dead before they get the 5 acres they won in court.I think their award for damages will not be anywhere near what they are asking for though.
I agree with everything except the Deep State sentence.....if not for that I'd like your post....they also turned down a Navy contract to build a base in Coos Bay which is the largest deep water port north of San Francisco....would have boosted Coos Bay to have those sailors spending money and buying houses there....didn't happen. Wasted opportunity for Oregon in my view. Then the Japanese bought virtually all the Port Orford cedar that locals couldn't afford given what the Japanese were willing to overpay for. Corporate America destroyed the middle class....that's Walmart taking local business from small business owners....same with many large corporations. Greed destroyed the middle class, not politics...this includes real estate greed pricing homes out of reach from many young couples starting out ...it's why so many Californians have moved to Oregon....they can't buy a house in their hometown anymore. When the Dems killed the timber industry in southern Oregon under Clinton, lots of EMPTY promises were made for Federal and State help establishing investments and training to instill replacement economies for the victims.
Not a penny ever materialized (as planned).
The Deep State's war on natural resource jobs in America is merely one weapon used to destroy their enemy, the American Middle Class.
I've actually never seen or heard of any meth where I've lived in Aloha and Lake Oswego. But we're like the meth capital of Oregon lol. Actually maybe Medford is, it's gotten dangerous there now, like really gone downhill.
The people of Coos Bay do not want any outsiders there unless their there briefly spending money, least of all sailors buying houses. If you live in Coos Bay you'd best not leave the house unless you're in some sort of wool flannel shirt with a plaid print. A rifle rack on the back inside of your pickup is a big plus. There's literally no place in town where a tie is appreciated except perhaps a police station and then maybe not. You also should be wearing some kind of boots suitable for hiking in the woods unless you're going fishing and then it can be hip boots. A rain hat and rain poncho or some other casual rain coat is acceptable when it rains but DO NOT carry an umbrella.I agree with everything except the Deep State sentence.....if not for that I'd like your post....they also turned down a Navy contract to build a base in Coos Bay which is the largest deep water port north of San Francisco....would have boosted Coos Bay to have those sailors spending money and buying houses there....didn't happen. Well, I wouldn't know because the only time I get to Portland is when I go to the VA hospital where all the people I meet are either in hospital gowns or wearing medical garb. You know what garb is, don't you? That's right, pooka shell necklaces, open toe sandals, stove pipe hats, sleeveless t-shirts and ragged shorts. It helps augment the camaraderie if you have an assortment of tattoos and for men, a long and seemingly endless beard. For women, who mostly can't grow a decent beard, you should wear a nose ring or even a lip ring. Ear rings are for wussies. So basically you can't tell them from Portlanders?

Doesn't change what I've said unless you've secretly followed me everywhere I've gone for the last 40 years. Still, if you saw something, then you saw something that I didn't see.https://www.kptv.com/news/police-la...cle_7c65cd5e-cc6d-5e8a-9af1-eb24f55579d5.html
