I can't ever remember a homestretch this long before. We should move into 6 or 7 seed by the time all is said and done.

Next 5 are vs. western playoff positioned teams. The games won't be easy but it will give us a chance to climb seeds quickly.

Lots of home games but the quality of opponent goes up as well. If they win those games, they will earn a playoff spot.

I should add that four of our 5 road games during this stretch are against sub .500 teams.

Just embrace the playoffs. It's happening whether you like it or not. Personally, I'd rather have a lottery pick, but what can you do? These guys are young and playing well. You can't be upset when we're winning games with Vonleh, McCollum, and Crabbe all on the floor in crunch time.

I would be happy to split the next 4 at home. I posted earlier in the year about us always seeming to go home after a road trip and play Memphis who is resting in Portland. Sure enough it happens again tomorrow. Weird how it always seems to be Memphis.

Utah plays Houston twice in the next 4 games. Not sure who to root for.

If we actually make the play-offs - great. If we finish in the 9-12 slot, we are seriously fucked.

Just root that the games happen. It guarantees losses to our competition. Plus we'll beat Memphis. We're gonna fly up the standings.

6. Grizz 18-17
7. Jazz 15-17
8. Rockets 16-19
9. Us 15-21

We're gonna climb the standings and fast.

Since it looks like they are going to make the playoffs, they need to set their goal on #5 or higher. Playing Golden St, San Antonio or Oklahoma City would likely be a death march.

GS and OKC would be easy opponents for us. I see us beating either team in 5 or 6 games. Spurs would be tough though. Tough to get Game 7 in SA.

yeah maybe but I like the experience for our new roster getting to taste playoff basketball...that is underrated in my view. You want to stand toe to toe with the contenders..it's the playoffs! I don't care what anybody dreams about...the draft is a crap shoot

I LOVE how much of a fan you are, but "easy"? Time for a shot of reality in whatever you are drinking.

OKC prevents some problems but I don't see how Durant averages more than 25 ppg in a series with us with Aminu draped all over him and the Thunder would need 30+ out of him to have a chance. As for the Warriors, they don't want us. We are their worst nightmare. Matchup problems all over the place. I expect a double digit win by us on Friday.

Against are backcourt, I don't see how Westbrook averages less than 40 a game. OKC doesnt need 30+ out of Durant to "have a chance"...

And were the Warriors worst matchup? We have no one to guard Curry! They have Thompson who will do a good job on CJ or Dame, and will let the other one try to beat them, because they have the defenders in the frontcourt to lock all of them down too. We'd get slaughtered by Golden State.

I'm hoping for a 6 or 7 seed. Milwaukee got that last year with less talent and still was able to convince Monroe to sign. It'd have the same impact on us.

It's hard not to think the playoffs aren't at least a realistic possibility at this point - the lower half of the conference is a mess and we're definitely playing better basketball of late even without our best player. That was a nice win tonight.

No doubt Westbrook can be unstoppable when he gets on a roll. Against any team. But just out of curiosity who was guarding him earlier in the season when he went 5-15 against us in OKC?

Even with 40 from Russ, OKC would still need 30+ from KD to actually beat us.

We destroyed Warriors in preseason. Warriors played their starters and were trying to win but we destroyed them. We're a nightmare for them.

Exactly. Our guards played pretty well that game as I recall. It was our bigs that had the problems. Kanter and Adams had 25 rebounds between them. Way to0 many .
Dame had a great first half but couldn't hit anything in the 2nd.
