This season looks to be Fulmer's season to keep his job. He's on the hotseat and needs a big season. Erik Ainge is returning for his senior season with big goals. But, with the losses of junior standout Robert Meachem, and Jayson Swain, the graduate, Ainge will have a whole new set of young recievers to throw to. As the Vols go from one of the best WR crews, to one of the more inexperienced in the SEC, the run game looks strong for the Vols with a two headed backfield of LaMarcus Coker and Arian Foster. These two will have to step up big time to bring back the offensive balance to Tennessee. There are a lot of new faces on the defensive end led by Pre-season All-American defensive back Jonathan Hefney, and upcoming star linebacker Jerod Mayo. Time will tell how the defense performs. I have faith in Chavis and I think they will turn out just fine.On special teams, All-SEC kicker James Wilhoit has graduated and left UT. Britton Colquitt will take over his duties as place kicker, as well as continue as the punter. He leads a legacy of Colquitt kickers at the University of Tennessee (one of whom my mom dated). The SEC looks very tough this season, with around 8 teams who feel they have a shot at winning the championship. This should be a very fun season to say the least.
