I'm not a professional when it comes to collecting cards, but I do like to have a set of my guys each year. So far this year, what I see available are

Topps
Aldridge
Bayless
Blake
Oden
Outlaw
Roy
Webster

Upper Deck
Aldridge
Bayless
Blake
Frye
Oden
Roy
Webster

with throwbacks of
Drexler
Lucas
Walton

I assume these are just first editions, but I'm finding it difficult to get information from the companies themselves as to when they'll start releasing more. I'm not necessarily interested in the Super Hardcore Hardcourt Numbered MVP Legend Jersey Cards with 24 karat gold trim set to the company's style 50 years ago in their bazillion different sets, but I'll buy a card if I like it. I just really want to get the whole team for completion.

So far nobody's released
Fernandez
Przybilla
Rodriguez
Batum
Diogu
LaFrentz

I know not everyone may get a card, but some of these guys really ought to. Anybody have any information as to when more complete editions are due?

...I randomly bought a pack of 2009 UD cards at 7-11 last week and I got ROY and DREXLER!!!

i AM a professional (dealer) :ghoti:

upper deck is split into 2 series this year and series 2 will definitely
have rudy and batum, and probably one or more of the other guys.
unfortunately it won't be out until mid-season, i'm guessing Feb.

as far as i know there are no plans for a second series or update
from topps.

i don't see anything else that is likely to have more than 7-8
blazers. NBA sets tend to be pretty small and focused on
rookies & top stars, with not much room for non-rookie
bench players.

I just miss those damn Franz Blazers cards, bring em back!!!

True that, to squish the entire loaf and finger through each slice of bread just to get that trading card at the bottom was the best!

What about the card in the early 80's that the Police used to hand out. If you saw a cop, all you had to do was scream Blazer cards and they would hand them out. I still have Kermit Washington, Billy Ray Bates and a bunch more!
