Dang, at this point, Snedeker looking mighty poised to take this thing.

Tiger will need a miracle tomorrow.

Closing.....now just 3 back. Too bad he had that 2-stroker go against him. :(

Rules are rules, although I think the correct decision was made since the tournament officials reviewed the drop before Tiger signed his card and told him it was a legal drop. To DQ him after that would have been the wrong move.

By the way ... who are these tattletales who watch golf tournaments and then even know the number to call to report a violation? It really doesn't seem fair, since not every shot by every player is televised during a tournament.

Apparently, many folks call the Masters "hotline" every year. Most of the calls fizzle into nothing. Obviously, that wasn't the case this year.

I still think it's not really fair, since not all players have their shots aired on TV. I mean, did you see Cabrera use the foot wedge on the 15th Thursday? Neither did I!

I'll tune in tomorrow with about an hour to go. I'm rooting for Couples. I've always liked that guy. Plus, he's a NW product.

I'll play golf whenever, but I can't even force myself to watch it unless there's absolutely nothing else to do or watch.

Excellent point. Unless all players are subject to the same scrutiny, hardly seems fair.

No, but Cabrera has never been accused of cheating on his wife, either. Karma is everywhere, man.

...if Tiger makes this next birdie putt on #12, then watch out!

Cabrera smokes cigarettes. Cigarettes are of the devil.

Tiger shouldn't have received 2-stroke penalty.

Great putt by Adam Scott! Steve Williams is on the bag for another Masters win?

What will Cabrera do?

Did anyone else catch the commentary about how Cabrera used to kill live chickens for food, or am I just making that up?

I can't tell, because like I said earlier, the Masters is the ultimate nap potion for me, so I'm usually zoning in and out of consciousness, but I'm pretty sure there was a narrative there that his parents didn't want him, he grew up on the streets down in Argentina, and he used to steal chickens for food.

I'm just wondering, if that's true, how someone like that makes it into a predominantly rich, white man's sport and almost wins his second Masters. I mean, he would have had it, if it were not for some rain, a centimeter of distance on his last ball, and also, inspite of the pole fucking Tiger's game up. (BTW - I'm in the camp that thinks there was some favoritism, and that Tiger should have been given a DQ for what happened after he hit the pole, but as for that initial shot that set up the penalty... Damn, that would have put him on the top of the leaderboard on Sunday, had it not been for the pole.)
