What's the next major fucked up event that most people won't see coming?

I'm guessing either Trump dies either of natural causes or is assassinated or we experience a major terrorist attack (i.e. dirty bomb in a major city).
 
War with China. It may not happen in 2020, but it’s coming. They will invade Taiwan eventually. China will not stop their expansion until the West pushes back, and we’re currently in no state to do so.

Dude... seriously. I usually walk my dog on 54th Street but that is where the police station is and they've closed that off so I took her to 53rd St. But she wanted to go home and stood her ground. I tried to drag her along but she got free and started tearing down 53rd! I was so worried because I knew she knew how to get home from 54th but from 53rd, I was worried she'd get confused. Two people stopped her for me and I ended up carrying her home. Whew.

Nah. It would be Trump losing the election and refusing to accept it, declaring martial law, shutting down the press, suspending the constitution, etc.

Well, actually I guess that leads to the same end result as your scenario, but it all happens quicker.

That should be a good thing to all the "gotta burn down the corrupt system and start over" Trump voters. (To be clear, I'm not saying all Trump voters felt that way--but a lot of them argued that and this would assist in that.)
