Probably could use Drew back for this game. One thing is for certain. If you watched the last game you saw that the Blazers could have an advantage with Nurk on the floor. Claxton cannot guard Nurk and the Nets need to force small ball if they can. They might find a problem if Nurk gets into foul trouble.

Since missing the game against the Lakers, Simmons is averaging 15.5 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.8 apg, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blks while shooting a ridiculous 82% from the field and not quite as bad as normal 61% from the FT line.
Still an incredibly versatile defender.

He creates problems for the Blazers.

The Blazers need to force the Nets to use Ben on Nurk instead of allowing him to stay on the ball handler. Get the ball into the big guy and let him make plays. Problem here is Nurk gets lazy passing the ball sometimes. It would be wise for someone to get him locked in from the very beginning.

I’d still take him on our team obviously

We need Nurk for sure, but force-feeding him early never seems to work. He starts out slow.
I disagree. It is how we feed him. If he is double teamed standing motionless, and we try to cram the ball into him. Yes, that's a mistake.
The way you can get the ball to Nurkic continuously is by having him move his feet. It takes more effort by the trailblazers, but it is more effective.
There was the one sequence where the ball went. I believe from Jeremi Grant to Josh Hart than a hockey assist to Jusuf Nurkic, who was moving towards the hoop, and didn't have to do much to get a layup.
That kind of ball movement throws off the defense and can get Nurkic easy baskets.
You can definitely force-feed Nurkic safely.

So it looks like i'm moving to NYC in a few weeks. Looks like the team is enjoying their new digs in my new potential home for the past few days.

Wonder if they change hotels when playing NY and BK in consecutive games.
Where in the city? Lived there in the 90s, as my FIL says, ny is a pothole in life that everyone should hit

most likely across the hudson in NJ. not dealing with the prices, rudeness, and chaos that comes with manhattan. or the ridiculous extra ~4% city income tax...

Makes sense, we did the same but went to BH before it became the hipster haven it seems to be now

BK is a mess for sure, and a pain in the ass to get to from the airport in Newark (which i need fairly regular access to).

So you are saying we need good ball movement and Nurk needs to move his feet. I think we both agree on that.
What I hate is when Dame starts out the game by trying to get Nurk involved. Especially when he tries that low bounce pass that Nurk struggles with. Now I know Dame is not playing, but just move the ball and find the open man.

TV Pregame Show.....
This Francis Williams guy has got to be the most worthless human I have ever seen on TV.
His delivery is sporadic, at best, lacks anything that can be regarded as confident, and his contributions are fundamental, at best.
But hey...he looks good in a suit.
C'mon broadcasting...gotta be better than that.
EDIT:
I was always raised not to criticize unless I could do better
Without question, I could.
