I'm not one to say, "bad idea, keep tanking.". Blazers last 3 seasons have been [delete entry]. If Portland has legit NBA players lined up, and they take a major leap forward, that should be good news.
as far as I’m concerned, the blazers got their 13th pick already on the roster and his name is Toumani Camara. If you can move one of the picks for a future first or a young player you like, great.

the first thing Portland should do is test the market for consolidating picks and moving up in the order

the next priority should be consolidating and trying to land an extra 1st next season; or the season after

the last thing Portland should do is piss away picks for any win-now players. They already have 5 win-now veterans who proved they can't win now

respectfully, where is this anxiety coming from? I think people are over-extrapolating off of a jake fischer quote—who might be the biggest scuttlebutt merchant in the league.
