1-5 I like where we stand against them. But they got way more depth. If they keep playing with the same fervor they can beat anyone any night.

I dunno, Grant and Thybulle are doing really well; sure, relying on Murray and Wesley for anything feels risky but I like their odds against the Lesser Hollywood Retirement Center All-Stars.

Zubac will allow the Blazer bigs to play a little more. The Warriors ran so small that Clingan and especially Yang weren't very effective and Yang was played right off the floor.

Shae hopefully is due for a good game coming off his awful shooting in first two games - here's to seeing him get on track! I am liking his significant better effort on D

It's truly the thing I look for when I'm looking to see if a player has that "Star" persona. Can they get it going and carry a team on the road. Role players struggle and stars take big shots and make them. We just watched Anthony Edwards do this.

He's slowly evolving to a Jerome Kersey/Stacy Augmon type, which I'd be fine with. Without the pressure to be first option, I think he'll thrive.

They have Brook Lopez too. Zubac and Lopez have combined for 43 minutes. I think Yang was played off the floor because he's simply not ready yet. Zubac would kill Yang in the paint and Lopez would take him outside. So far, 89% of Lopez shots have been three's and he hasn't taken a single shot at the rim. I'd think Murray would be a much better defender of Lopez; he's a lot more used to defending the perimeter where Lopez lives

it's way too early in the season to gauge much of anything but so far, Clingan + Yang have averaged 32 minutes. That's probably close to what will happen in the season. 12-15 minutes of small-ball for Portland. The Warriors aren't the only team that goes small
