Also now see that we're the final game 90 minutes after the other one. I think almost everyone will just head home.

So 8 teams finished 4-0. Only 6 of them go to the playoffs? So, even 4-0 doesn't guarantee a playoff spot. Wow. They need to change this playoff format for SL.

Only 4 go to playoffs

Most years it's not like this. Blazers were 3-1 when they won SL 3 years ago.

I don't think they need to extend it. Rookies like Yang and others are all sitting out at the end anyways.

I do wish there was something where the Remix started a few months prior to the NBA season or such. Seems like there is a void from finals to opening night the minor leagues could fill. Also better quality of play and less injury than summer league.

Also non playoff teams like the Blazers have had a break since at least April... With tanking sometimes earlier.

Wow so 4, 4-0 teams didn't make it.

Random thoughts ...

Sidy Cissoko has to be the biggest, thickest 6-6, 201-pound person on this planet. Or else everyone in that gym is a stick figure. Good all-around game and good summer league for him. He fits this roster. But he looks like a monster -- he's the Godzilla of SL guards.

Rayan is too good to be playing in this game. I thought they would sit him for good after the third game. He gets it. Not a whole lot I see that he can gain by playing with these guys against those guys.

James Bouknight is jut 53 weeks older than Caleb Love.

BTW, Caleb, when the other team is on an 18-0 run, dribbling around and shooting a contested 27-footer isn't the best way to try to stop it.

That game got out of hand fast. We were up 10. I think we took Sidy and Rayan out of the game together and then just started to settle for a bunch of missed 3s and not getting back on defense.

This game isn't much of a consolation.

I think there were six 4-0 teams?
MIN ATL were 4-0 and didn't make it
OKC TOR made it but lost today and were eliminated

SAC CHA play for the final tomorrow

At least the Thunder aren't going to win it

Rupert has disappointed.

Huh?

He entered this game averaging 16.7 ppg on 8 FGA per game. Shooting 62.5%, 70% from 3. Made every FT. 5.0 rpg, 2.7 assts., 2.0 steals in 25.3 minutes per.

Are you being sarcastic?

I think DJ Carton will get our third two way spot.

I think Bouknight would get it over him. I wouldn't be shocked if it's someone on another team entirely, but I'd be more inclined to go Bouknight.

That would've been nuts. Not sure we've had or will ever have a combo finals champ/summer league champ.

Although OKC and SAS do have a lot of picks so who knows.

But normally the champ is not trotting out a bunch of talented youth.

A sickening plethora of riches.

Bouknight isn't elligible

Thought I heard Bouknight is ineligible for a two way.

Oh, wow. Thanks for the info. I didn't realize that. That kind of stinks. He really fits a need on this roster, although when you get to two-way players, it doesn't really matter because they don't play enough.

Yeah, this will be his 5th season. He's no longer elligible. Love and Cissoko are already taking up two spots, he would have been a good third. As it is, I think it will be Carton or Skapintsev. Could also be someone from another SL team.

We do have the 15th spot, but we probably leave it open or convert Cissoko. Also could resign Banton. Don't see it though.

_Probably overblown statement. Just thought he would be more aggressive going to the hoop, he did seem to struggle with that.

I thought Dame got the 15th spot. I'm definitely not up-to-date on some of the rostering rules.

EDIT: I think I was already counting Sidy on the regular roster, so I miscounted.
