GAME NOTES

• The Fire will face the Sky again on 6/24 and 6/25 in Chicago
• The Fire and Sky have never played. The first iteration of the Fire became defunct (2002) before the Sky became a team (2005)
• The Sky finished 10-34, 6th in the Eastern Conference last season
• This will mark the first regular season home game in the Moda Center, since August 11, 2002 when the former Portland Fire finished their season and their time as a franchise in a 73-70 loss to the Phoenix Mercury

Hell of a game so far

Yeah. Considering I don't know how good Chicago is supposed to be, I don't know if they should be losing bad or not. I like what Im seeing, esp for an expansion team.

The Fire's starting line is pretty good. The bench is very weak. When they come in is when opponents go on runs against them, and build leads.

Hell of a run. Have to keep it going.

Getting screwed over by the refs

That fourth quarter was tough to watch

As they said pregame, most of them just met a week ago..they haven't played much together yet but for a first game they came to play

Sarah is Ms Energy just like a Josh Hart type of player. I think she should start.

For Carleton?

Engstler is very high energy too. I like her.

They're going to have trouble with big 5s...they are putting 6'4 centers out there. Chicago's center was 6'7. Need to find some size for their frontcourt.
