For those keeping score................

In 2015 there is $166.5M being paid among 9 (NINE) players, CC (23M), Teixeira (22.5M), Tanaka (22M), Ellsbury (21M), A-Rod (21M), McCann (17M), Beltran (15M), Headley (13M), & Gardner (12M).

In 2016 those same 9 players will be getting a total of $168.5M

In 2017 We lose $37.5M expired contracts of Tex & Beltran & CC has a $25M vesting option

So come 2018 here's what we got (P) Tanaka (22M), (C) McCann (17M), (1B) ?, (2B) ?, (3B) Headley (13M), (SS) ?, (LF) Gardner (12M), (CF) Ellsbury (21M), (RF) ?

I swear it seems like the Yanx have solely tried to raise the MLB Minimum Wage to 10 Million $$$ a year, for sub-par to mediocre talent.....tho' in all honesty its not the Yanx fault alone, the long term deals are somewhat, but Players themselves have become commodities, who just happen to play a sport.....

I'd blame assholes like Scott Bor-ass for elevation of ridiculous priced long term salaries......and other ass clowns like him.

As if the Forest can't be seen thru the trees........

What this team could use, is a 7 million dollar Yasiel Puig, even tho' he's a man trapped in a little boys body....! Yes, 7 Mil....not a dime more.

Or- a leadoff hitter like Gordon at 2.5 mil

Jose Abreu at 8.35 mil

Hell, what a sport, when you see a true Superstar, who shines for a short time, then goes down with serious injuries, holding long term big $$$ contracts..........to often the case......for all Teams.

What's next? If Crapuano wins 5 games in a row, will he too become a 10 Million dollar player?

Cappy has had but one year out of 10 when he won more games than he lost. ONE, 1, yes only 1.....!!!
