Continue success, stomp the Rays right into a mudhole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crazy that Nate the Great is now this team's #2 starter. Hasn't held them back. Keep it up Yanks!

Tonight's lineup posted in OP, No Teixeira tonight.

Archer's last outing was 3 1/3 inns vs Texas. Usually a good
pitcher comes back in good shape after a bad outing.
Lucky Yankees.

Bases loaded no outs, 2 runs in. Now 2 outs. Wasting a
big spot in first inning. Had Archer on the ropes and they
couldn't break it open.
Let's see what unfolds.

Anytime we get an early lead, I'm okay with that.

Ellsbury having a hell of a start of 2015. Like having Jeter's bat back in the lineup.

Gardner is considered one of the MLBs best base stealers?

What? He drives me nuts when he's ready to steal. He slides
too early and it's like watching a slow train chugging into the
station.

You know I think there's actually less fans tonight then there were last night. And last night there was just a shade over 10,000

...yawn...pretty weak, even for you.

...how about a Gardner for Captain poll?

I think the hockey playoffs are on tonight (Tampa bay lightening) maybe that's why.

...that's a sport I can't get into...I've had people tell that it's completely different watch a game at the rink as opposed to TV.

If you want to live longer, watching playoff hockey
on TV will not help. It is a difficult sport to watch
on TV.

^^^yeah, from what die hard hockey fans have told me watching a game on TV is a let down after seeing it live at the rink.

...this may be the first time this year that Eovaldi has managed to be efficient with his pitches...fewer pitches, getting ahead of batters, no walks...nice to see.

...the guy has got the stuff, but he just needs to harness it and learn to pitch instead just throwing.

I never could either. Very talented skaters but watching guys beat the piss out of each other while the refs watch never made any sense to me. Its the only sport I know of where guys can throw punches & not get suspended for it.

Big game 7 at the Garden tomorrow night.

...can't believe the punishment those guys endure...maybe every bit as much as football players.

Tough break. Not getting more runs in that 1st inning
was B I G>>>>>>>>>>>Archer shut the door tight.

Yeah I really thought they were going to get a lot more in that first inning. I hope the Yankees can come back & get a win for this kid. who pitched really well.

One thing about hockey that diminishes the game is the ruthless
nonsense that some players display with illegal checks, boarding
and wielding of hockey sticks. The game can become
"Gladiators On Ice". Not good for the game.
