30 Years ago today, on a frozen launch Pad at KSC, America froze in horror, of the site Challenger's explosion.

What a day:
1- My deceased brother was born on this day 45 years ago.

2- We bury Kim's Dad at Bakersfield Veterans Cemetery. A USAF "Lifer". RIP- Chief Master Sergeant

3- Jackson Browne Tickets go on sale today of all days. Ironic in ways, we buried my brother to a few JB songs.......(and see #2) It's a uncanny cycle this day is.....

4- Last but never least, Godspeed Be with You Challenger, your "Go For Launch"....

Just got back from a freshman chem lab class, stunned to find people piled up in front nt of the TVs in the student lounge.

...yeah, I vividly remember being outside working on my 3rd and last TR6...then the wife stuck her dead out of the door and screamed, "The Challenger just blew up!"...didn't work on the car anymore for the rest of that day.
