(GODDAMNIT, THAT SHOULD BE "IN", NOT "IB". Fucking keyboard. Can a mod change that for me?)

guess who holds that record for the entire NBA for the season, which was snapped last night?

LaMarcus Aldridge.

Yeah, I was shocked, too.

I don't get it? You saying LaMarcus has made 34 ft's in a row.

Re: 34 FT ib a row.

The other stat that shocked me is that the Blazers have scored over 100 points 6 games in a row for the first time in 12 years. I don't care who the opponents have been....12 years? That surprised me especially since they were on the road for the first 5.

Re: 34 FT ib a row.

At no point this year did Lamarcus make 34 FT consecutively. He did hit 18 straight over a 6-game stretch from 11-1 to 11-11, but that's about as good as it's gotten for him this year.

From Quick's roundup of last night's game:

Aldridge missed a free throw with 5:16 left in the second quarter, ending a string of 34 consecutive successful free throws. It was the longest streak in the NBA this season

Re: 34 FT ib a row.

If that's the case, that's some piss-poor writing by Quick.

I'm certainly a lot less surprised by that than I would be if LMA made 34 straight FT.
