OT 3D GUNS

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

Ludicrous.
All I can hope for is that two dingbats get in a 3D gun fight and simultaneously shoot each other.

Really though, I think once the gun companies see a dent in their market share and don't like that people can get guns cheaper and without tracking, they'll end it. So...gun companies will come to the rescue. Irony.

Nobody needs a 3D printer, blueprint, or even anything more than a small piece of pipe and a pointy thing to hit the firing pin with.

A silly distraction concocted by The Fake News Society.

I'm sure these same parts could be cast, which is probably alot cheaper and the technology has been around for years already, but you don't really see it happening. I understand the concern but I really don't think it will become a problem. Just a buzzword to put in the news cycle for clicks.

Who is stupid enough to address a gun violence epidemic with a new way to print guns at home? Oh that’s right we are

Welcome to the future bitches.

Try and stop this. I don't see the point stopping it. We have 8 billion guns just in Texas. Something like that.

Who is planning on stopping people from 3d printing houses? That's coming too

And how is it fake news. You really need to stop being a trump/ putin puppet.

This is the future, this technology is only going to get better and cheaper. Downloading plans, illegal or not, is as easy as downloading a movie. Love it or hate it, it's now part of our dystopian reality.

One of the issues with plastic guns is that they make metal detectors useless as a security measure at airports and other venues with large crowds. Imaging scanners are far more expensive and impracticable for places like concerts and sports events.

You'd think any idiot would realize this.

Another is alot more kids could die. Cops thinking their toy gun is a 3d printed one. Shoot first, questions later. Open season.

Yet another is that these blueprints aren't just available in the us, but world wide. Now we are talking about arming terrorist cells. Etc

Do you have anything to support your claim that Texas has 8 billion guns? :bgrin:

8 billion? Is there a stockpile at the Alamo I don't know about?

And as head of the NPA, the National Phaser Association, I will fight to make them legal everywhere.

From my cold dead paws!

The only way to stop a bad guy with a phaser is a good guy with a phaser.
We need to make sure they don't ever make PLASTIC phasers though.

One step closer to having to wear uniforms to board a plane.
