First off Vic, thanks for starting these game threads everyday. and secondly, when did the ultimate warrior die, I just saw him on wrestlemania this past Monday?

Never mind, I just read about. 54 years old & cause of death not released.

Welcome to America Tanaka. A 3 run bomb. Now lets hope he settles down from here on in & the offense can take over.

THAT'S! what I'm talking about. First Beltran then Johnson. 3-2 now.

No problem at all. It's always better then twenty different threads about the same game. Yes, I still cannot believe he passed away. He was just inducted into the HOF on Saturday night, was at WM30 on Sunday and was on television Monday night. Less than 24 hours later he was dead. I would assume a massive heart attack. I was only 13 years old when he beat Hogan for the title at WM 6.

May God rest his soul!

whats up men, tananka gave up another early dinger? was it off a fastball? anyway early in game ....

lets go yanks

Pasta: It was a hanging slider. I've got a question for you. Just out of curiosity, approx what kind of money do the coaches make. I would assume that pitching & hitting coaches would make more then say your base coaches. Any idea?

Nicely done tying the game. A double, runner moved over and scores on a grounder up the middle.

rick, not much!!!! but if you consider meal money & hotels are paid for, for the love of the game!!!

You mean athletes still go to the park for that reason. NAH!....that can't be right.

Nice job by Tanaka not giving up anything after the homer. A solid start through seven innings with ten Ks.

Shawn Kelley was fucking horrible

zero bite to the breaking ball, could not finish up a single hitter, would not challenge anyone with his fastball

that was a two cent head pitcher if I ever saw one

HOLY SHIT!........this our new closer for now.

solarte back to being a utility scrub

that's a game really bad teams lose, that was 100% winnable

Dan you can't wipe out everything the kid has done so far because of one game ending DP.

no but it's a small sample size and it's bound to end

Oh don't get me wrong, I don't expect him to hit 400 for much longer or even 300 for the season. At this point considering what we have manning our infield, I'll just enjoy it for as long as it goes on.

that game should have been won by yanks in the 8th inning, these are the games you think back on at season's end in a divisional race....

gardner leads off with a double, jete's should have tried to bunt for hit instead of just a sac, and joe could have put something , ells is a contact hitter... i know its ealry but thats a horible loss

You have to be able to hit a fly ball to get a guy in from third. They have failed at that for years.
