Well, we knew it was "improper," but not like that. Adding to the lamest string of "improper benefits" on record, the NCAA revealed Wednesday the shocking excess that led to the suspension of Boise State receiver Geraldo Boldewijn: Use of a 1990 Toyota Camry with 177,000 miles on it, along with driver's insurance coverage. Total value? $700, the amount Boldewijn was forced to pay to charity to restore his eligibility, which presumably included the pine air freshener hanging from the rearview window. Speaking from personal experience as someone who once drove a 1990 Toyota Camry with an odometer topping 100,000 in high school and college, I say with great confidence that Geraldo is the charity..............
