please stop w/your crusade. You're doing this in every thread, its getting olllllllllddddd...
I definitely much prefer the 8 points, 2 rebounds 1 assist in 22 minutes we got from our true "PG"
Well he definitely lit it up scoring wise as a "SG".Blake played SG after Roy got into foul trouble.

I've "done this" in two other threads. His final stat line concerns me. Deal with the stat line, not me.

I dont care about the stat. Its pre-season, and really, I've seen you post your miller-hate all over the other threads, no need to make another, honestly.

I notice you don't list his FT makes- 8/9- making his overall efficiency very good. Seriously, though, you should calm down before many of us are forced to ignore you.
I agree the McMillian posts are ridiculous. However, these Miller posts often come across the same way. I've seen two games and I haven't seen the problems you see in the box score.A million posts about how bad of a coach McMillan is, and I'm the poster who needs to be ignored.
So PapaG I obviously haven't been following the forum close enough to have any clue what your stance is on things. It appears that we both agree that an upgrade over Blake was needed. It appears as though you are quite upset about Miller though. What is your stance who did/do you want that we had available to us?
Blake needed to be upgraded. I was excited about Miller.
This is really beginning to concern me.
I don't think it's all of the organization that has the Man Crush.
One thing I find interesting so far is Blake turnovers. Always in the past Blake has been defended as our starter because he doesn't turn the ball over very much Through 6 games he has 15 assists and 18 turnovers. Millers been better there with 25 assists and only 14 turnovers, still not great, but not as bad.
Miller just needs a little more time to learn his teammates. WHo to hit where and what they are going to do with it. realistically we still shouldn't expect more than 5-6 apg from him. Roy will still be wracking up the Assists on offensive sets. What we will see is an increase in fast-break points, just like we did tonight.
Was this thread started before you freaked out several days ago, or were you not even BEGINNING to be concerned when you made those thirty anti-Miller posts?
Ed O.

Blake played SG after Roy got into foul trouble. Plus, I've always said Blake isn't a "true PG". I thought that was what the Blazers were getting in Miller. My mistake.
Do you even follow the games?
I was actually at the game. Were you? It doesn't sound like it, because if you were you'd know that Aldridge didn't play, that Roy was limited to 21 minutes and Oden to 15 minutes due to the incompetent replacement refs. With our best three scorers seeing limited to no action, and Travis Outlaw playing like complete shit, exactly who was Miller supposed to pass to? During most of his minutes he was clearly the best scoring option we had on the court.
You've turned this into a personal crusade against Miller based solely on armchair analysis of the boxscore. Try watching the games before you jump to incorrect conclusions and continue to make a fool of yourself.
Miller had ZERO turnovers tonight in almost 38 minutes. Blake had 3 TOs in 22 minutes, Roy 3 TOs in 21 minutes and Outlaw 3 TOs in 22 minutes.
BTW, in case you didn't notice, the Blazers won tonight - and they wouldn't have done so without Andre Miller. With Blake shooting 3-12, Roy 3-10 and Outlaw a stellar 1-7, I find it laughable that you single out Miller for his poor shooting. Miller may not have shot the ball well, but with Aldridge out, Roy and Blake having off nights, Travis Outlaw being completely worthless on the offensive end, and Oden in constant foul trouble, it was Miller than kept the Blazers in this game. He got the Nuggets big men in foul trouble by driving the lane and getting them to leave their feet - and converted 8-9 FTs. Game ball goes to Oden for scoring 16 points in less than 16 minutes and taking over in the 4th quarter (until he fouled out on one of the worst calls I've ever seen). Outside of Oden, Andre Miller and Juwan Howard were our best players tonight.
