Interesting that Soriano isn't playing, he would know the Cards well from his time with the Cubs. Cubs v Cards is akin to Yanks v Sox rivalry.

It will be interesting to see if asshole Girardi lets this kid FINALLY get a f'king win. In his 2 outing so far he was removed just before the official 5 innings & for no apparent reason.....

5/15 4 2/3rds 2 hits, no runs 2 BB & 4Ks with only 74 pitches thrown.

5/21 4 1/3 6 hits, 1 run 1 BB & 3Ks with only 71 pitches thrown.

If Girardi ever gives this kid a little more rope he very well could be a nice addition.

I read he was being stretched out. I could see 75 pitches than 85-90, etc. But that's not a progression at all. This is long reliever territory, not SP.

The Cardinals are now getting it wired and playing good ball, pulling for Whitley to do well today. Like what I've seen from this kid, would like to see him do well today.

Back from the beach with a nice sunburn on my back. Go Yanks!

And the lord said "Let there be rain" and there was rain.

TeX scratched, Johnson at 1B today. Any info out there?

Come on team lets see some offense and win this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yankees take the lead 4-3 with some National League baseball. Stealing bases and moving the runners.

I've always had much respect for the St. Louis Cardinals Franchise. Good win by the Yankees tonight.

Not talking about Mo, nor comparing DRob to Mo. Fact is, DRob isn't a dominant closer at this point of his career. I'm not convinced he is the solution, I see him as the Wetterlin type of bridge to someone like Betances. Sweet Home Alabama isn't intimidating anyone.

Good call, I pretty much see things the same way. I'd like to see the Yankees flip flop put D-rob as set up and Betances as closer see how it works out.

And completely destroy DRob's confidence for absolutely no reason.

here, I have no qualms comparing Mo' with D-Rob, Mo' is 4 inches taller....there ya' go...!

They just said that he complained to Joe that his wrist was feeling a little stiff. Game time decision.

Tex has either got to learn how to field and throw ambidextriously. Otherwise he MUST QUIT bopping the bologna....!
