The Tulsa 66ers (28-10) recorded their fifth consecutive victory with a 103-97 road win over the Erie BayHawks (24-13) Friday evening inside Tullio Arena. Guard Robert Vaden led the 66ers in scoring with 20 points and forward Ryan Reid paced Tulsa with nine rebounds and two blocked shots.
Tulsa, who currently leads the Western Conference, improved to 15-5 on road this season.
Also scoring in double figures for Tulsa was Elijah Millsap and Larry Owens with 19 and Jerome Dyson with 16.
Offensively, Tulsa shot 36-73 (.493) from the floor, including 5-11 (.455) from beyond the arc. The 66ers defense forced 24 turnovers, including 11 steals.
Leading the BayHawks was Ivan Johnson, Tasmin Mitchell and Kyle Spain each with 17 points.
The 66ers and BayHawks will complete the back-to-back set tomorrow evening, March 5, at 6 p.m. inside Tullio Arena.
