<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Nets contend they're not thinking about catching Washington, only making the playoffs. In the process, though, they could jump up and grab the sixth seed.
By beating Washington for the second time in four nights, this time in a totally different fashion than Saturday's overtime victory, the Nets sit just two games behind the struggling, depleted Wizards in the race for sixth place in the Eastern Conference.
The Nets pulled out the 96-92 win Tuesday night at Verizon Center by doing some things they've struggled with all season. They made stops late -- they held Washington without a field goal for the last 3:27 -- and outscored the Wizards, 12-3, over the final 1:26.</div>

Do any of you guys think that getting the 6th seed is a possibility right now? The Wizards have lost their two main stars and have lost 5 straight. They have a fairly easy schedule, but I don't know how easy it will be with the way the have been playing. We are only two games back of them and if you look at the schedules and predict the win loss record it is possible to get the 6th seed.

I think we will get the 6th seed and play the Raptors in the first round. What do you guys think?
