i have a bad feeling about this, like an ashley pond and miranda gaddis feeling

I was surprised to read that this school didn't have an automated caller feature to alert parents that their children weren't in school. Here in Houston, we get a call/text/email no later than 8:30 am if one of our kids aren't in school. It makes so much sense, that I figured it was standard practice across the US?

All the schools i've been to do that too...also why no cameras in the school? Every school needs cameras no matter the number of students IMO

I just assumed some jackass parent would complain about their kids rights or something. All schools should have cameras as far as I'm concerned.

Here in Hood River they started doing that a couple years ago. They werent too bright when I was in school. They had the Teachers do a #2 Pencil bubble in thing. Which was fine, but they had Student Aides collect them and take them into the office... yeaaaaaah Students wont ever erase #2 Pencil Marks and change them. riiiiight.

Now they have that Automated thing though

kids have no rights in schools anyways.

no leads :(

My nephew is a 3rd grader at Skyline and I know he's been affected. I hope they find the kid and he's well and safe.
