Let's see Wilson was president and ushered us into WWI. Roosevelt was president when we went to Europe and the Pacific to fight World War II and Kennedy and Johnson ushered us into Vietnam.

Hmm the three biggest foreign military adventures this country has been involved in all started by Democrats. Oh and the only unequivocally good war (WW II) was started and finished by Democrats.

For the last 30 years, Democrat presidents (Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama) have been a very different breed. Unlike the presidents you mentioned, they've been bleeding heart liberals who only use the military when they need to somehow alter their public image, as Clinton did when he needed to distract everybody from the Monica Lewinsky mess.
