Hey, whats up with you Greg? Your coach sounds kinda irritated about your injury. Is he just mad that you can't play, or are you not giving your all? There's been a lot of talk about you and some "extra curricular activities." Just wonderin if you had a comment about any of those reports. It seems everybody is starting to question your true desire to play this game. If you're injured, well than you're injured. But you gotta do everything you can to come back asap.

Do you truly love basketball Greg? You need to ask yourself a HUGE question this offseason: do you truly want to become an NBA great, or just collect some paychecks to make sure your family is taken care of? If it's the ladder, the organization, the team, and the fans need to know so we can get over you being a key pillar of our team. But if you do love this game, do whatever you can to get back; embrace everything about the game because if you don't love the game, it's not gonna love you back big man.

Hope all the rumors are wrong. Keep your head up, chin above water, and go for your goals man, whatever they may be. Good luck and God bless.

Well, a ladder is certainly not a pillar, but it still will help the team move higher.

Still, I'm thinking he'll go pillar route, not ladder.

I don't even know what that guy is talking about. "alot of talk . . . extracircular activities"?? What does that even mean?

I haven't heard anything about Greg other than he keeps to himself a lot.

This kind of hack journalism should be illegal. Quick and Canzano are fucking assclowns, and it seems like their only purpose in life is to try and get the fans to turn on players their not "thrilled with." Especially when you have those cute quotes like "he's not even fun to be around." Fuck you Quick and your hack ass journalism that should put your ass in jail. If there was anyone that deserved to be laid off in this shitty economy it's your dumb ass.

Last summer, when I lived in Columbus I was at a bar (Lodge Bar for those from Columbus) and Greg Oden was there. Huge, monstrosity of a man that stuck out more than you could imagine — he was one of about 2 black people there. So I turn the corner for the bathroom and there is Oden taking a piss, everyone is screaming compliments to him and telling him he is the man. Then he zips up, turns around to the 4-7 dudes in the room and says a line I will never forget — the immortal:

“The bitches in here aren’t trying to f**k”

If that doesn’t sum it up, I don’t know what does.

I'm not really sure what the "wowsers" is about this comment. Hey I saw Oden last year at the strip joint and he was getting a ton of lap dances and snorting coke off the table. It's the truth because I put it on the interznet yo.
 
Call me old-fashioned/fogey, deluded, ignorant, out of touch, but....

I had this sweet little ol' impression of Greg being this shy, meek, and stay-to-himself kind of guy.

Hence, the wowsers.

Settle down, though, kids. It's all relative to what I see through my own lens.
 
Im sure the other 99% of Blazer fans who aren't commenting on Greg's blog make up for the 1% of idiots out there.
 
My reaction is whatever . . . GO has bigger issues than what poeple post on the internet.


(If he let's what some say on the internet get to him, well, add that as another big issue with GO)

I don't think he was insinuating drugs. Greg just turned 21 so maybe he's been hitting up the bars/clubs.

Why doesn't he just ask if he's having premarital sex? He's basically accusing Greg of several things, because he (like a few of us here) seems to be an over-reactionary person.

Greg looks upset, he must hate basketball. Or maybe he's just serious on the court, like we've heard mentioned about him before. He hates losing. Maybe he's upset at his play.

What, he has to be jolly like Shaq to make people happy?
