So you are saying that the players Petrie has started to accumulate over the last few years are not smart team players like he once had. And why would we want them?

I think you can handle one low IQ BB player on your team, but I would not start filling your roster with them. In the long term championship teams are built around smart, talented, and highly competitive players. I think the verdict is still out on Cousins and Evans being smart.

I agree with that. But LMA certainly isn't smart. He might not be a numbskull, but he's not smart.
Regarding Cousins - I don't worry about his BBIQ, but he is a numbskull. Though I think we have room on the team for ONE of those. Now Evans...he certainly isn't a smart player. But as a 6th man scorer off the bench he doesn't need to be all that bright - come in and attack the basket, that's all he needs to know.
Basically I want Cousins. Evans, I could see him helping our bench, but as I said in my first post - I've never liked his game.

But also, I think it's a little far-reaching to just say that Petrie drafted dumb players and leave it at that. I think the lion's share of their struggles are organizational, and not roster-related. I don't think they have a particularly great roster, but it's pretty clear that the team isn't doing their players any favors.
