I don't get it. Is it wrong to describe Avatar as a "science fiction thing"? Or are you saying that his prediction of it winning best picture is clueless? I haven't seen it, so maybe I'm missing how what he said was unbelievably dumb.

Are you putting knowledge of popular culture at the same level as knowledge of geopolitics as qualifications for being a politician?

biden was a lawyer, and a respected senator before he assumed the duties as vice pres. conversely, palin took six years and five different schools to receive here journalism degree but in a teabagger's bizzaro world- that makes them intellectual equals.

I never understood the Palin hate. They picked her as VP, they failed.... it's over. For some reason liberals cling to their hatred for her like a child with their bankee.
