We grow our own Korean chives, aka garlic chives. We also sometimes grow Korean cucumbers, which are similar but smaller than English cucumbers as well as Perilla leaves for making Kkaennip kimchee. The cucumbers are used for making my favorite kimchee, Oyee kimchee or cucumber kimchee.you tube my friend....you can learn any cooking technique you like....your wife can look it up in Korean....my wife has learned to make traditional Taiwanese dishes on Chinese channels on youtube with excellent results...harder to find the originals in English....we have Bok Choy...Green Peas and tomatoes in the garden...we go to the Asian market for water chestnuts or bamboo shoots..etc….grow our own Taiwanese chives as well. the trick to your dish is the meat sautee'
