Going thru testing on still sore shoulder to get to the bottom of things!! Do the yanks know there is an offseason to do this shit?? Can’t wait for the bad news on judge that’s coming.

Could be worth a shot, it can't hurt. Plus he'd probably stay alot healthier!
 
Yanks announce judge has a stress fracture on his rib and will miss at least 2 weeks and not ruling out the possibility of surgery to remove the rib. Jesus Christ fire this medical staff already!!!!
 
umm wasnt the injury somewhere in the shoulder...now its a broken rib?

I think they've already replaced last year's staff.
 
I don't understand how the Yanx can possibly believe that 2 weeks rest is going to make a difference...if the injury supposedly happened 6 months ago, what good is another 2 weeks going to matter?

Either decide to have the surgery now or just play through it...but 2 weeks?

That's the time it's going to take to figure out what's really going on, after the last >6 months, of not having a clue.... that's probably the time they're going to need to decide, what to really do?

Where did all the good doctors of New York go?

The last Medical/Training regime, though terminated in the off season, should be charged with Sabotage!

And think about what we just said: Judge had a broken bone in his body and Yankees doctors couldn’t find it -- even after Judge told team trainers he heard a “crack” and a “pop" last Sept. 18, when he tried to rob the Angels’ Albert Pujols of a single.

Give the Yankees credit for making Judge get an MRI, which revealed no damage.
(But were the results accurate, and obviously, the follow-up treatment was insufficient, or perhaps Aaron re-injured it while skiing down Mt. Everest, only after encountering Bigfoot, whom Aaron tossed off a cliff). Did Judge re-injure his rib lifting the heavy-giant Bigfoot?

You can give the Yankees a pass for sticking Judge into the lineup each day because there was a world championship to win. But Judge is their franchise player, to whom they could be awarding a $300 million contract someday. If the Yankees were going to put his health at risk for the sake of a title, then they should’ve made sure they found out what was wrong when the postseason ended.
(PS- I can't give anyone a pass).

After sitting one day, Judge was back in the lineup for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs, even though he needed multiple cortisone shots to deal with his pain.

As far as we know, the Yankees didn’t run any more tests, didn’t give Judge a strategy for the offseason, didn’t closely monitor his activities. So, Judge worked out like a maniac, hitting all winter, and throughout November, December and January, there was more shoulder and pec discomfort.

According to verywellhealth.com, Judge’s injury takes three to six months to heal without surgery. He was told on Friday that he’s probably halfway through the healing process, so best-case scenario he’s six weeks to three months from being healed.

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge told reporters Friday that his fractured rib is improving, and he also disclosed that he suffered a partially collapsed lung.

Two weeks ago, manager Aaron Boone said a fractured rib revealed by a CT scan was why Judge had been suffering tightness in his shoulder and pectoral area, thus significantly limiting his baseball activities since early February.

The Yankees never divulged the pneumothorax, commonly called a collapsed lung. Judge said a scheduled CT scan Friday showed the pneumothorax had fully healed and that had been slight progress in the healing of the rib.

"The pneumothorax came back completely gone, which a good thing," Judge told reporters outside Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida. "Good to go, which means I can fly if I needed to go home. A little thing on the lung that we were having a little issue with, but that was all healed up. ... The bone is healing the way it should be."

Judge said he would have another test in a few weeks "and go from there."

With the season delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic, Judge likely will have time to heal without surgery. He has been doing light workouts at Steinbrenner Field alongside a few teammates, including Giancarlo Stanton, DJ LeMahieu and Tyler Wade.

"That's the silver lining in all this," Judge said. "I think just having the ability to not feel rushed trying to get back, you know, for a certain date."

Judge, 27, said two weeks ago that the problem dated to a game against the Los Angeles Angels last September, when he heard "a crack and pop" in his chest on a diving attempt in the outfield.
 
I hope he doesn't carbon copy Stanton. That guy is made of paper.
