How many of you believe Fox is behind this? I don't know why but I feel the whole prostitute and pimp thing was sponsored and put together by Rupert Murdock's cable channel.

Thoughts?

Who gives a fuck who is behind it? You think Fox news found some half retarded morons and got them jobs at acorn?

If Fox news found Natalie Holloway alive would you be pissed?

Whoever is behind it deserves a fucking award for showing regular people the kind of bullshit that goes on in this world.

No, not the people that physically work for Acorn. The prostitute and pimp was put together by Fox to bring down Acorn.

I don't care if Charles Manson was behind it. I don't care if the organization targeted was affiliated with was right or left. The things said and the advice given by Acorn employees were reprehensible, especially coming from an organization receiving any level of public funding. And don't try to tell me that this is a case of a few bad apples. The answers given by these people were institutional, not personal.

I know, the point is that it doesn't matter if Fox put the ho and pimp up to it, ACORN is the entity that hired the morons that worked for them.

I don't know that Fox did, I would think they would be proud of it,if so and I haven't heard of it.

i cant believe acorn employees were that stupid. it almost seems like an elaborate hoax

I just can't believe the effect this one network is having on Barack Obama's presidency and administration. They are out to take anything down that is literally linked to him. If he isn't reelected, I think this network will play a big part in it.

I would have thunk that pimps and hos paying taxes would be a good thing.

You're ok dog. But that statement wasn't aimed at you. It was aimed at the heart of liberalism.

I thought so RIC, just having some fun. Something that a lot of people in these political discussions can't seem to do.

LOL. That's a good thing. Good to have someone here to lighten things up when it starts to get a too dark and gorey.

They couldn't get a disabled war veteran elected, but they can keep Obama from being re-elected????

hahahahahah:biglaugh:

I just realized that if this is possible, I need to start a charity to bring Fox news to low income families.

Yes, all the smart people get their news from The Colbert Report!

and they like to remind you about it every day!

I mean seriously, there were quite a few of us that called that ACORN was full of shit back in September and October of last year. Its a piece of shit org.

hahahahhahaha Genital contractor. Loved it. That girl looked pretty hot, I would believe she was a hooker, the guy being the pimp would be more of a stretch.

That guy is a terrible actor. Maybe it's only with the benefit of knowing what's going on that I noticed, but his voice really didn't work, he somehow sounded patronizing. Which, to be fair, is understandable given just how stupid those Acorn employees were.

I thought his vocabulary was far better than a stereotypical pimp. That and he was eager to give up all kinds of info.

Hi, can I help you with a loan?

Yeah, I am a pimp who kills dogs and cheats on my taxes and speeds in school zones and I am a racist and I steal from old ladies and I kill dogs, did I say that? anyway, I like to throw rocks at retarded children and then steal their lunch money and I whore out my girlfriend for cocaine money and I am importing sex slaves from Indonesia or Mexico or wherever they are cheaper because I am going to kill them anyway and I like long walks on the beach and I pull the legs off of bugs for sport and I adopt old greyhounds to make pimp coats out of and I voted for Bush twice and I give food laced with rohypnol to food banks and I pee in the shower and I like Tyler Perry movies.

That last thing should have let them know it was a setup!

Any white people here that have actually watched a Tyler Perry movie? Fox news told me not to.

I don't know if it was FOX, but I don't think these two conceived and executed the idea without some kind of help. I've seen interviews with the woman that played the prostitute, and she seems like she's reading from a script.

That being said, it doesn't really matter to me who was behind it or whether or not they legally were allowed to film these meetings. They exposed a cancer and that's good enough for me.

I remember when "60 Minutes", "20/20", "Nightline" or "Dateline" would have done something like this, but there are things they don't wish to see.

Fox News isn't making public sentiments, it's reflecting them.

That's a great piece. LMAO.

Embarrassing how corrupt that organization looks now.

This whole event reminds me of Plato's discussion of the mythical ring of Gyges. It was a ring that made the wearer invisible (aka, the Hobbit ring). If you had such a ring, would you behave ethically? Are your ethics something that's internally driven and constant, or a result of stimulus from the people around you? Do principles fly off like rags at the first good shake (to quote Joseph Conrad)? The answer in ACORN's case is pretty obvious.

We've got Youtube, and in another year or two every cell phone made will have a video camera in it. With every passing year it seems like technology is making it harder and harder to pretend you've got that ring of invisibility.

It's not so much that Big Brother is watching us. It's that we're getting better and better at watching each other.
