ABC has picked up "Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D." for a full season, the network announced Thursday.
The series opened with strong ratings that made it the highest-rated drama premiere in four years before its numbers fell back to earth in its subsequent episodes. Still, the show ranks as No. 1 in its Tuesday at 8 p.m. timeslot, according to ABC.
“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.
