Wondering what your guys' experience with wifi on airplanes has been? I use the gogo internet on the Delta flights and it's great. Trips just fly(no pun intended) by! Watching movies still, but to be able to hop on here and facebook like I am right now just makes the trips feel so short. Not fast enough to stream video, but we did listen to an audio stream of the civil war and it worked just fine. Just curious.

I put movies on my iPad and watch on the plane when I have a trip.

I think it sucks balls due to slow speed. I'll get it on a flight longer than 3 hours but anything less, I'd probably rather just take a nap. However, I am able to send/receive texts on my cell phone online (via Sprint/Google Voice) so its really useful for that.

Just did a speed test...... interesting that we are on our way to Denver and currently somewhere over SE Oregon, but it shows my internet coming from SoCal.

LOL

That bandwidth is definitely poor for streaming video. They probably block the video sites.

If I try to watch something on my NBA LeaguePass, it plays for a sec then freezes and then does it again........ unwatchable.

I believe you can use facebook without paying for gogo online.
