Al-Farouq Aminu ranked 17th best SF

For some reason ESPN is ranking Batum as the 17th best shooting guard.

Tony Allen MIGHT have been the 12th best, but he sure isn't anymore.

And Luol Deng has taken a pretty extreme dive as well. That list seems like it's based on old data.

I think porter and Fournier are ranked too low. Cj miles too high. Think I'd rather have aminu than Crowder

It occurs to me that Aminu and Batum are like polar opposites.

Most of the time, Batum won't shoot from 3 when he should. Most of the time, Aminu shoots from 3 when he shouldn't.

Most of the time, Batum won't drive to the hoop when he should. Most of the time, Aminu does drive to the hoop when he shouldn't.

I'll gladly take the guy that appears to give a Damn on the court and plays with energy

No.

And stop. Continue to tell Cj he sucks. It makes him play better
Outside of Butler and Harden, what SGs are better than CJ. He's averaging 21/4/3, he can score in many ways. Who else is better than him?

These ranking lists always suck..Wes is not having an impactful season so far, nor is Kobe..it's like allstar votes

Anyone want to answer this for me. It wasn't a rhetorical question.
Klay, Derozen,Wade,Beal, D. Green

CJ might just win MIP, but he's not quite at the top yet even though SG is the leagues weakest position.

DeMar DeRozen is slightly better PER, Scoring, and Win Shares wise. Jimmy Butler has a slightly higher PER and Win Shares. Will Barton has a higher PER, but lower Win Shares But you could argue all three are about the same as CJ when it comes down to it. Harden's PER is higher than all four by a good amount, but he has lower Win Shares than all of them.

Beal's not doing as good as CJ this year (only an 18.0 PER). Klay is riding Curry's coattails, and is only a 15.1 PER this year. Wade, you could make a case for.

Ya, I was just throwing a few names out there. Kinda like the meaning of MVP....... how do you judge a players value.

Totally agree. I've always gone with the "Are you the most valuable player on your team, AND is your team succeeding because of you?" definition of MVP, but I know there's a million variations.

I think CJ is in a group just behind Harden, all jostling for positions 2-8 in the list. In my opinion, he could be any of those rankings, depending on the game he had that day.

The most impressive thing about CJ is that he's shooting pretty darn efficiently from the field. 46% from the field and almost 42% from three.
