This is stupid, as a long time baseball coach I have seen what full court passes and shots do to a players arm and shoulder (Problems typically emerge later). Under no circumstances should he be taking full court shots outside of a game situation.

You coach a lot of 7 ft 250lb guys who live in the weight room? I played baseball with a left fielder who could throw a strike to homeplate all day long and never hurt his elbow. He was 6ft, maybe 175lbs. If you hurt your arm throwing the long ball, you're not using your lower torso when you throw. Coaches taught me to never throw with arm strength alone. That's how you get hurt.
