So glad they are using it for once. Though, I think they should send a couple more down there...

Really glad to see this. It's long past due. The guy needs to play.

So wait: the Blazers discontinue their association with the Stampede... and THEN assign Crabbe to the Stampede?

I'm confused. I thought we were no longer associated with the Stampede.

good now lets add a guy from free agency.

You still don't quite understand the rules do you? I have literally told you at least 4 times now that sending a player to the D-League does not open up a roster spot. I am sure I am not the only one who has reminded you of this before either.

We're no longer a single affiliate after this year... but we still do have them this year. It's really confusing, so I don't even know if I have it right.

Yeah. It's true. He's still our 15th man. Kinda like baseball with their 40 man rosters... even though they are in the "minors", they are still a part of the "team" even if they aren't with them.

It used to be that a team could replace an injured player with a signup, but hasn't been true for about the last 3 CBAs. The roster expansion from 12 to 15 supposedly made that unnecessary.

"Yeah, the d league's a worthless joke and we're ending our use of it since it doesn't make players better. Hey Allen, pack your bags. You're going to Boise!"
