Pathetic defensive effort but vintage performance by Lundqvist. Deserved the first, second and third star tonight.

He's been ridden hard here and elsewhere for his play of late, but his numbers over the past 10 games or so are VERY good. If he keeps it up, and we get an upgrade on the blueline, we could make some noise this spring.

God forbid he isnt a robot every game. Guys can go scoreless in 10 games and barley ger noticed..he has a string of bad games...not always his fault..and its doomsday

I don't think it was a pathetic defensive effort. Almost all the shots were from the outside or long distance. There were few if any shots from close in or the slot. Something, this defense loves to give up vs. better teams. Hank was solid but he didn't stand on his head either.
