Not to mention you can save even more if your a Amazon prime member. Are you excited and will you be changing the supermarket you mostly shop at?

Interesting. No link to an article, or add? I'm a prime member, but the wife does the shopping.

I pretty much stopped going there completely when they took the big coffee area out and put a stupid bar in its place. I've never seen more than 5 people in it at once.

There's only a few foods we buy there; stuff we like and cannot get anywhere else.

They have bars in random Fred Meyer stores. It's pretty sweet.

Fuck i'm old.
Fred Meyer stores are big. They took our a popular section of the whole foods to put a dumbass bar in. Across from Green Valley Ranch casino. And next to a cheesecake factory.

Dumb

Have been using Amazon Fresh for a while now - works real well and saves us driving (have enough of that with 2 teenage kids living in SoCal).

I have seen that Amazon started selling Echos at the Whole Foods - that's just funny.

Rumor has it Amazon is going after more major retailers like Nordstrom, Fred Meyer, Best Buy and Target.

In 10 years, we will look at Amazon much like how we look at Walmart.

True story, The HCP has never been to a Walmart. Couldn't even tell you were one is located.

I've been a few times, it sucks. I think I've been in Mexican Walmart more than ones in the U.S

You probably couldn't tell us where one was located at if you went to one yesterday.

But, you're not missing anything.

Portland not having a Walmart helps the HCP with avoiding them. I got introduced to one when we went rock climbing at Smith Rock and realized it was going to be much colder at night than expected. They sell long-underwear there @HCP - just as a point of reference.

After my time, I guess. Did not have them there when I left.
2 of them there now. One in Eastport Plaza. Don't recommend that one. And one over in the Clackamas area on 82nd.

They have one in Wood Village too. @HCP loves going out to the burbs'

There's one that opened near Delta Park about 5 years ago as well and it's just as depressing as its 82nd counterparts.

You guys don't want to go to Walmart, the one we have is where everyone gets stabbed, robbed, and beat up, especially after dark. Fred Meyer is much classier.

Yeah I prefer Target or Fred Meyer for that kind of stuff for sure.

One must wonder if they make Whole Foods more accessible if the hot girls will stop going there, which is the main reason people go there in the first place.

Worked the Walmart Open, an LPGA event in Rogers, Arkansas once. That's the headquarters of Walmart. They have a damn museum there. My hotel had about 3 right around it, just didn't go. There's a reason they are everywhere right? Everything is super cheap I'm sure.

Its pretty much THE redneck hangout spot, modern mall of small rural areas. I'm not a snooty person, but I always felt dirty when I walked around in one.
