Couples wins American Family Insurance Championship
After nearly two months off, Fred Couples looked as fresh as ever. And he also looked comfortable in the winner’s circle again.
The fan favorite put together a stellar final-round 6-under 66 to win the American Family Insurance Championship by 2 shots over Scott Verplank in Madison, Wisconsin. It’s Couples’ 13th victory and 25th top-2 finish in 85 starts on PGA TOUR Champions.
