An omen for this season?

sorry about your wheels
that's some bad Blazer mojo, can you exchange the cursed TB plates for Oregon Trail plates? There's several different options now. There's one with bees, a deer plate, and a new one with pretty mountains.

To test out this theory, you need ot get Laker plates now.

Trying to check if ya original post said women or amen. I know you ain’t catching women, so money is on amen. #FAMS

I mean, it won't exactly be a surprise if we're terrible, will it? Assuming (as seems likely) we start the season with Dame still on the payroll but we sit him while we "work on a trade", I honestly can't think of a team (maybe Washington?) that's worse than us on paper. Certainly we're the worst team in the West.

Easily.

Why would the team sit Dame?

I think there are a lot of people that are reading the situation incorrectly. (I'm not saying you are one of them.)

The story is that Cronin intentionally made Dame mad so that Dame would ask for a trade, then Cronin could continue tanking with a young team.

I think that narrative is baloney.

Cronin very much wants Dame to stay with the team, but was unable or unwilling to make a trade that knee-capped the future of the team to get a "win now" player.

What Cronin actually wanted and still wants, is for Dame to return to his role of last season, and for the team to make the playoffs.

I think it's important to remember that Victor Wembanyama was the reward for winning the #1 pick in the 2023 draft. If the team wasn't a championship contender, tanking for that particular player was worth missing the 2023 playoffs.

I think it would be a "mutual agreement" thing - like Al Horford with OKC. Dame doesn't want to get injured, and we want Ant and Scoot to get as many minutes as possible, AND we want to lose a lot to get another high lottery pick.

Hmm just ordered some Blazers license plater frames yesterday. Sure hope the engine doesn't catch on fire.

Not certain how that would happen since its an electric car.

Did you buy the car from Damian Lillard Toyota?

I just really want to see a core with an identity that is set in stone from day one and can build chemistry together. I'm tired of 20 different starting lineups every season. With the right pieces this should be set coming out of training camp.
