Ugh! Why? Why cant we ever just enjoy something? Its shit like this that leads me to believe that we really are cursed. Because whether its true or not, good or bad or whatever its all we will have to hear about.
 
If a celebrity wants to have a good time, I wish people would just put their phones away. Sounds like the takers of the picture also would not leave him alone.

I was thinking the same thing. Very disappointing if Lillard freaked out and then stood by as two guys got pummeled.

Meaning this did happen. I'm guessing the brothers that got beat up were running their mouths, but that doesn't excuse dame ignoring it.

At least nobody got gang-raped (allegedly), or no dogs were kept for fighting ... could have been worse!
 
Does anyone else get annoyed the way KGW always sensationalizes these types of stories for ratings? "Check back at 4PM when we will have an exclusive interview with the brothers............"

I'm guessing there was some alcohol involved in all of this. At least Lillard didn't do the fighting. But seriously, that is some weak sauce to start brawling over. My guess is the Blazers handle this in-house. I don't think it becomes a pattern. Frankly, better that it starts now so that the Blazers can try to get this thing corrected early in his career. I don't think Hoops Fam 2.0, but we will just have to wait and see.
 
When are players going to learn that entourages cause them more trouble than good? How many times does stuff like have to happen before they realize that "keeping it real" is real bad more often than not? He could have been totally against it but there is really no way he could have stopped it even if he wanted to once it escalated past a certain point. And as others have said if there was alcohol involved then he probably didnt have the ability to think that far ahead.

This is total bullshit, I wouldn't expect Damian to get involved in a (likely drunken) fight, even to stop it, and I wouldn't want him to. That could easily turn out way worse in many ways.

They have to claim Lillard instigated it or they can't sue him. The Posse doesn't have any money.

It makes it hard on who to believe. It always comes down to money.

But seriously - this isn't great news but it's not that big of deal, either. Like VanillaGorilla said, at least he was smart enough to stay out of the fight.
