...espn continues to hump the Sox's leg. I just can't understand how they can defend picking the Sox to repeat. Their reasoning is evidently that the Yanx have too many ? marks but the Sox somehow do not.
...can someone please explain this logic to me?

Proximity of HQ to Boston, a disproportionate number of employees that are Boston fans, etc. Unfortunately in terms of wanting to be a global leader in sports media, they are unable to shed their regional biases.

Looking forward to it. And I'm sure I won't be turning off or missing as many games as I did last season.

I know all about this lefty righty thing but I'm a little surprised at McCann batting clean up & Gardner 7th

...at this point, McCann is probably a better option at clean up than Tex.

I would have flip-flopped McCann & Soriano & put Gardner 9th.

That's not a bad idea either, to have Gardner 9th would put speed back to back, and give life hopefully to the bottom of the order, who so often tend to come up to bat in the bottom or top of the 8th or 9th innings.

Depending on who gets hotter, McCann, Soriano, Tex, or Beltran, would be enough to flip the order around....Instant Karma.
