This is actually crossed my mind before I saw J Quick's article. Last year, Miller led the #6 seed Sixers to a win over the Magic in Game 1 and actually had a 2-1 lead before losing the series in 6 games. The year before, he did the exact same thing against the Pistons and in fact, the Sixers led by double digits in Game 4 but the Pistons won the series in 6. And in 2005, his Nuggets won game 1 (against the Spurs, I believe) but lost the series in 5.
Such instances worry me but on the positive side, I think it's good that Miller has been here before. He won't let the team get too complacent. He'll show them that it's a long series and we have a long long way to go to close it out.
