Ankle, Not Knees, the Issue With Carter
January 26, 2008, 12:48 am Vince Carter wasn’t responding to Thursday’s comments made by Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley, but Lawrence Frank was willing to defend his star. Frank said that Carter has been “bogged down with an ankle injury that has affected him,” adding that Carter is still an All-Star caliber player. Carter first injured his ankle Nov. 11 against Boston.

Feels like any day now he might be out for the year or something along those lines.

Remember when Tim Walsh used to be amazing?

Hell maybe we should fire this guy

I fixed it for you.

Yo Tim Walsh is f***in up. I mean it used to be great how Kenyon or Kidd or both would get significant injuries and make it back really quickly to take us to the finals; then he was the man. Nowadays our players can't shake naggin injuries, and the smallest tweak or roll of the ankle is still with them months later. It's not just Carter either, its RJ, Antoine, Boki...

It's these smaller injuries that are really killing us

what I question is: if the Nets were doing good, a few games above .500 , even with VC not playing his best but everyone else playing greatly, would this even be noticed or written about?

My guess: most likely not.

What happened? I was to lazy to read that. And I couldn't bare myself to watch the whole Nets-Nuggets game.

Did Allen Iverson literally break Carter's ankles during that game?
