The Mad Ants’ road woes continued Wednesday when they suffered a 105-93 loss to Bakersfield in the second game of the annual NBA Development League Showcase at South Padre Island, Texas.
It was the second loss in the two-game Showcase and the fourth consecutive road loss for the Ants (12-9). Guard Walker Russell Jr. led Fort Wayne with 25 points and eight assists. Rod Wilmont had 16 points.
Newly acquired forward Wayne Chism played nearly eight minutes and had two points and three rebounds.
